Intentionally getting the slide to close when inserting a magazine

I don't run any of my Glocks as hard as I do my Gen 4 34 that I use in competition. It's got an 11 pound RSA and inserting a mag with just enough extra force will cause the slide to feed a round. I've gotten so I expect it and enjoy it in competition. I've not really tried this technique on my other models, as it may be abusive and they have OEM RSAs.

So please share your experience with slide closure when inserting mags forcefully.
