Has anyone cut a finger relief on the bottom of the trigger guard

Looking for a way to get my hand a little higher up for better control and I see some custom shops undercutting the trigger guard. Doesn't look like it would be much to it, just wondering if anyone took a sander to there trigger guard yet?
