I know this horse has been beaten to death but, it had been awhile since I purchased a new Glock and was surprised at just how scratch-prone the new, flat finish actually is. I bought 2 new Glocks in the past month, both Austrian, and they already exhibit scratches on the slides. The 43 shows Kydex holster wear already. The 19 has only been gently used at the range.
