For anyone who hasn't read about the thing, here's a quick explanation about what it is and what it does;
The SCD replaces the slide cover plate on a Glock pistol, (models 17-41) . Is does not "lock" or otherwise interfere with the normal action of the pistol UNLESS physical force is being applied to it by the shooter's thumb while re-holstering. When using any normal firing grip, the SCD is not engaged...
