Finish Question G19 Gen3

Hi everyone, I sold my OD Green G19 Gen3 and I'm somewhat regretting it. I hated the OD color but loved the frying pan look of the slide. I have had my new G19 Gen3 for almost two weeks. I can tell the finish isn't going to hold up as well as the one I bought back in 2004-2005.

Is there a way of buying a slide from GLOCK with the frying pan texture?

I'm not a collector but I do like to keep my guns looking nice and if it gets honest holster wear I am okay with that. I wondering how long...
