Glock 42 trigger

I am totally disgusted and feel like Glock has committed fraud. The trigger is advertised as 5.5 lbs yet my trigger feels like 8 or 9 pounds. What can be done to fix this issue? Can Glock reduce the pull weight if I send it to them or are we just stuck with this crap?
