Was cleaning the barrel of my gen 4 23 yesterday and noticed what looks like the coating is flaking off under the hood of the barrel. The barrel itself is fine and im not having any issues out of the gun.
Just purchased this gun new last month and probably have around 60 to 70 rounds of Independence aluminum cased 180gr fmj thru it.
Owned Gen 4 33, 29sf and 20sf, aswell as a 43 and have never noticed any of the other barrels doing this and they have more rounds thru them.
