Can you chop a 17 to a 19 and add a magwell that doesn't flare out like an 18th century dress?

I love not only the look, but the idea of shooting a Glock 17 (particularly Gen 2) chopped to a 19 with that flush mag. The equivalent of this 19 Gen 2 chopped to 26:


But I'm looking to do this to a 17 down to 19. Do you see how the magazine sits flush with the chop? I would love to have that but with a more bevelled magwell inside. I know there are extensions out there, but they flare out so much. Are there any that don't? Or other...
