New to pistols, so I'm not really sure how to approach cleaning the top of the frame of my G19.
For the first 300-400 rounds I've just been getting in there with a nylon brush and wiping clean the exposed metal with VERY LITTLE Balistol or rubbing alcohol. The exposed metal usually gets pretty black.
To be honest, I've been doing this based on Hickok45's cleaning video on YouTube. Barrel gets soaked in Ballistol and slide gets cleaned with a little Ballistol as well.
