Got my GeePlates in today

Years ago I had the GAP floor plates for my 26.3 and when I got my 26.5 I knew I needed more. GAP seems to be out of business but luckily GeePlates are around and the service was killer. I ordered a pair Saturday morning around 8am, there were in the mail a couple hours later. Shipped from TX and I had them here in WV today (Monday).

I'm wanting some new sights on my 30sf. I've been looking at daweson precision. I want simple black with serrations and a fairly thin front something with more precision. what do you guys recommend? should i try installing them myself? if not whats the going rate for a gunshop to do it?

I saw them on the Glock Store website today and thought they would be a good idea if they're good to go. Seems like kind of a no brainer since they're hardly any longer than the standard pinky extension. Have they been around for long, and are they regarded as being reliable?

First Glock, Gen 3 OD Glock 19 or Used Gen 4 Black Glock 19

So I bought my first gun last year, went with an M&P 2.0 Compact. But I have glock fever lately as well as a 2nd handgun permit and wanted to get a glock 19.

So I found a used Gen 4 all black Glock 19 that I wouldnt have to pay any tax or transfer on for $425,

Or I can buy a new Gen 3 OD Glock 19 at alocal shop for $550 (including tax)

I would like the OD Glock just so I dont have to have 2 all black guns, but is there any reason to pay $125 more for a new Gen 3 compared to a used Gen 4....

Looking for help on potential cause/remedies for inconsistent feeding issues I am having with a 32 rnd (4422-02) Glock mag in my 9MM SBR. I have 6 15 rnd Glock mags & 1 15 rnd Magpul that have run flawlessly.
As background, the 32 rnd mag is about 6 months old with ~400 rnds thru it. The 1st rnd always feeds perfectly. The feeding issues have been anywhere from the 2nd rnd through the 30th rnd. The photos below show the end result of the feeding problems. I’ve been told to replace the...

Glock 43 Mag Extensions & When will we see a larger mag?

I've tried almost all the Glock 43 magazine extensions and will be happy to share the results when I test just a couple more. I'd love to hear your experiences too... which are best & worst?

Maybe the most important question is 'Will we ever see an aftermarket magazine greater than 6 rounds?' Does anyone know of a company that makes extended mags for other models of Glocks or other manufacturers? I've got to believe there's a HUGE demand based on the number of extensions.

I’ve been looking for a 40/9 conversion barrel and someone suggested that I just use a stock G34 barrel. Seems like it would work? Anyone have experience running that configuration? TIA

Glock 31 Gen4, WOW!!!

I think I've found a new favorite handgun and cartridge. Took the Glock 31 Gen4 out and man, awesome ballistics, accuracy was good for my first time out and recoil wasn't as bad as many folks try to say it is. Felt more like a 9mm +P or 45 acp than anything else. No where near as flippy as the 40 S&W IMHO. I really like this cartridge, so much so I may try to pick up a Shield 40cal and put a 357 Sig barrel into it to use as my EDC pistol. It's giving me what I've been looking for out of the...

Bought A SECOND Glock 19X

What's weird about that is I never much liked Glocks. But bought the first 19X in March and liked it so well decided to buy another. First for a car gun. Second for a bedside gun. Paid $620 for each at Sportsman's Warehouse.

Guessing they put more effort into this for the military trials. LOVE the capacity.

Don't know if I'll go double rig like the Lone Ranger or Hopalong Cassidy.

Bought a chest holster for hiking, a cross draw holster, and a regular OWB...

When I got my Glock 40 it was suffering from light primer strikes. When I took the striker out I found a serious malfunction on it. It had sharp edges on the shaft that protruded outward. When I called Glock for a new striker they told me they could not send a new one directly to me. I either had to send the pistol in or take it to a Glock authorized armorer. Since there was no nearby authorized armorer and I didn't want to incur shipping charges, I decided to wait for the Dallas Pistol...

Sooo, it seems the 357 sig has garnered some attention again. I’ve read several comments about a desire for a 357L, or something longer than the 31.

Comments on why this has not happened and/or will it happen with the generation 5 product?

I wonder if Glock supports this cartridge to its potential? Your comments would be appreciated.

180 grain .40 factory loads safe?

I've briefly searched recent posts, but it's been some time since I was warned not to fire 180 grain bullets out of a .40 S&W Glock.

Is that general warning still operative?

Was it intended for only early .40 Glocks?

Are there any Glock models/generations with factory barrels now considered safe with those loads?

I'd really like to know. Until told differently, I'm shooting those factory loads only in guns made by other manufacturers.

Thank you for anything you can tell me on this issue.

Good morning GT friends
Thinking of a new Glock for the range and Home protection.I currently have a G42 and G43.
Thinking about either a 19 Gen 5, 19X or a 17 Gen 5.
Also the MOS system ?
Is this available on the 19X ?
Do you guys like the MOS ?
Any idea when and if the 19X will come out in Black ?

Hello fellow "General Glocking" Glock Talkers,

Just wanted to bring up Blue Label Glocks, what they are, and how you can purchase them even if you are not military, law enforcement, or a first responder. Reading about $600+ Gen 5's on the retail market prompted me to post this.

Blue Label Glocks are no different than their commercial counterparts as far as the firearm is concerned. No select parts (although the G17L, G24, G34, G35, G40, G41 will usually be configured for law enforcement...

I gave my Glock 23 to my sister a fews years ago, which her husband has pretty much taken charge of. We went out shooting, and I noticed that he really preferred my G41 or my buddy's G19. He's got a birthday coming up, and I owe him a favor or two.

I'm thinking about sending him a conversion barrel so he can shoot 9mm through it. I'm leaning towards KKM Precision.

So.

(1) Which one is the best bang for the buck?

(2) Is there anything else I need to know about, other than 9mm mags are...
