Carver magwell on a G32?

I have a gen 4 G32 and I'm looking at adding a deep magwell like the Carver Custom.
Just curious if there's anything cheaper out there that's as deep. I've seen the Carver as cheap as $100 so I'm trying to keep it below that. Doesn't have to be aluminum. The Magpul is too shallow.

I’ve updated the video below to show the actual product. You can now order it on our website.

So I was driving down the road and I was thinking, how can I make the magazine baseplate removal easier.

And I came up with this. I would like to hear opinions about it.

Note that the video below is a new video showing how the tool can work on 9mm - .45 original Glock magazine base plates and also on our current line of GeePlates for the same calibers.

If there will be demand, I might...

Glock 21 - Conversion to 10mm

My apologies if there are already existing threads about this topic but...

I'm planning my next purchase and looking for using 45ACP and 10mm.
What would be the best option? Glock21.4 with conversion barrel?
Do I need to replace some other component?

Other premises to consider?

Thanks for your advise!

DID I MAKE A GOOD BUY? I THINK SO...

So to preface this post, about my most recent Glock purchase, it should be known that I am a LEO that uses Glock 9mm firearms solely. This is not to say I am blind of other firearm manufactures and other fantastic firearms in the modern striker fire, SA/DA, and Hammer fired markets. I am very aware that there are guns out there with different and more plentiful features than Glock, but Glock is what I chose to carry for various reasons including cross compatibility of the double stack 9mm...

Irritation from Gen 5 Magwell

Sorry if this topic has already been brought up but i couldn’t find anything on it. Just bought a G19 Gen 5 and at the store it felt great in my hand but as i was home practicing draw and some dry fire i noticed a slight irritation on my pinky from the flared magwell.

I don’t grip too hard for it to pinch me severely but i use my usual firm grip and i can’t bypass the irritation. Does anyone else experience this? If so, how do you deal with it? Or is it something you get used to and later...

Glock 19X or Sig P320 Carry?

I’ve been interested in the 19X since they came out, but now that the Air Force has apparently jumped on the M18 bandwagon I’m thinking it may be a good idea to pick up a Sig in case I end up qualifying with one. I’ll need to choose one, so which would you choose?

Could Gen 5 slide treatment affect plating?

I picked up a couple of Gen 5 17's one as my carry gun, and one to use for USPSA. Since they would be setup very similarly I decided to have the 1st ones slide hard chromed. Would basically make it easy to tell the difference between the two, and hey bling when I wanted it. ;)

I have had two Glock slides hard chrome plated by the same place in past years and both turned out great, the new gen 5 slide not so much....First time returned to me, it looked great EXCEPT right at the back. Large...

Gen 5 Finish - How's it holding up?

One of the features of the Gen 5 was a new finish, NDLC, IIRC.

The Gen 5 has now been out long enough that some people can have a lot of round through them and CCW hours on them. So the question is, how is the finish holding up and how are owners liking it.

There was a fair amount of controversy about finishes from the end of the Gen 3 era, all the way through the Gen 4. I wonder if the new finish settles that.

Glock 26X, would you buy one?

Just an idea. If Glock introduced a gen 5 Glock 26X, or a Glock 26 slide on a Glock 19 frame, would you buy?

Guide rod question

I am fairly new to glock and simultaneously working on my first two G19 style builds. I decided to purchase a SS guide rod assembly and one coated in TiN. The SS assembly is captured and the TiN is uncaptured.

I have seen some prefer the uncaptured due to ease of cleaning and spring changing, but little other difference.

Is there something I am missing as to the pros/cons of captured vs uncaptured?

Thanks

Feeding Issues w/Glock 32 Rnd Mag

Looking for help on potential cause/remedies for inconsistent feeding issues I am having with a 32 rnd (4422-02) Glock mag in my 9MM SBR. I have 6 15 rnd Glock mags & 1 15 rnd Magpul that have run flawlessly.
As background, the 32 rnd mag is about 6 months old with ~400 rnds thru it. The 1st rnd always feeds perfectly. The feeding issues have been anywhere from the 2nd rnd through the 30th rnd. The photos below show the end result of the feeding problems. I’ve been told to replace the...

Finally got to check out the Gen5’s

Finally found the whole lineup at Academy.

Got to compare 19.5 - 17.5 - 19X.

I’m not convinced the finger grooves delete is a good thing. Felt more blocky than I was used to. I have many Glocks and shoot a 17MOS the most.

The 19X felt the best - by a large margin.
Very nice balance. If I were to take one of them home, it would have been the 19X.

Malfunction causes ND into officer’s leg

Day one....again

Lately it has been feeling like I’m having to start all over with my shooting. I’ve spend a quite a bit on time and ammo but since I don’t shoot on a consistent basis when I return to the range it’s low left bs again and back to slow practice.

My last glock had the cure which was an aftermarket trigger. My G34 the gun I shoot now does not because I’m stuck between finding a gun that fits me over putting a bunch of money into a gun that doesn’t. Honestly ready to think about other...

I've always liked the 36 but shied away from it because I've heard its the most problematic glock? so for those that own them have you had any issues?

Glock 31 Gen4, WOW!!!

I think I've found a new favorite handgun and cartridge. Took the Glock 31 Gen4 out and man, awesome ballistics, accuracy was good for my first time out and recoil wasn't as bad as many folks try to say it is. Felt more like a 9mm +P or 45 acp than anything else. No where near as flippy as the 40 S&W IMHO. I really like this cartridge, so much so I may try to pick up a Shield 40cal and put a 357 Sig barrel into it to use as my EDC pistol. It's giving me what I've been looking for out of the...

Dangerous Malfunction

Recently I was in a "move and shoot" class when my Glock 23 Gen 2 malfunctioned and fired 2 rounds with one trigger pull. The next round fired correctly, but the next trigger pull after that fired 4-5 rounds. I dropped the gun off with the gunsmith at the shooting range. He detail stripped the gun, reassembled and went to the range. He too experienced a couple of double fires. Not only that, he said that the gun fired a round by itself while his finger was not even on the trigger. He says...

Did Gaston invent the 'ball in the box'?

Never have seen this mentioned; was the signature Glock sight invented by Glock himself? I've never seen them on anything else.
I still can pick up Glock sights better than anything, altho' there are times I think I'm the only one here who really likes them! ;)
What is the history of this sight?
Thanks in advance,
Moon
