Glock 21 question?

I recently bought a Glock 21 Gen 2 and noticed that it has a notch on the bottom front of the grip. I own other Glocks but none of them have this notch and I've never owned the 45 acp before. At the risk of sounding dumb (even if I am :crazy:) what is the notch for? I attached a photo so you know what I'm talking about I apologize for the clarity of the photo but I think you will get the idea.

ETS glock mags in .45 acp and 10mm by the end of the year?

What's up glockers I emailed ETS about a month ago to see if they have any plans of making .45 ACP magazines. I just got a response today that they are looking into it trying to release 45 ACP and 10mm mags by the end of 2018. But it might be possible that they find a reason why they can't do it.

I'd be pretty pumped up about clear 13rd mags and a clear extended mag that wasn't chinese. Carrying my glock 21sf right now. What's y'all's opinion on this? Excited or not really

slide release covers --a good mod and how?

The slide releases on my G17-2 are brutal on my fingertips and I have heard of a DIY mod parts that permit easier use. I also have a G-43 coming and may experience the same problem. Also are Glock grip plugs useful and recommended?

Hey guys,

Just picked up a new 19 gen 5. I cleaned it and lubed it to prepare for the dirt shooting.

Anyway, I field stripped it like I have done hundreds of times to my other Glocks. When I was pulling the tabs down, my hand slipped of the slide slightly, and the slight moved up on the frame about one inch. I then retracted the slide back till it was locked back, attempted to again and had no problem (my hand didn’t slip this time lol)

My Question is, could I have done any damage by not...

New Glocker - seeking advice

I have a G19, Gen 3. Just bought it a couple of months ago. Starting to enjoy it! I have a chance to buy a stainless steel guide rod with an 18 lb flat spring for $8. I understand factory stock spring weight is 18 lbs, so it's what I already have in my G19. Would it do me any good to by this stainless steel rod, for example to use a different weight spring? Are there upgraded springs that make a difference that would work better on a stainless rod? Help me understand please... Thanks

Feeding Issues w/Glock 32 Rnd Mag

Looking for help on potential cause/remedies for inconsistent feeding issues I am having with a 32 rnd (4422-02) Glock mag in my 9MM SBR. I have 6 15 rnd Glock mags & 1 15 rnd Magpul that have run flawlessly.
As background, the 32 rnd mag is about 6 months old with ~400 rnds thru it. The 1st rnd always feeds perfectly. The feeding issues have been anywhere from the 2nd rnd through the 30th rnd. The photos below show the end result of the feeding problems. I’ve been told to replace the...

My first Glock in 08 was a Gen3 23. I rented one at a range one day and was so impressed with the small light weight yet high capacity gun. Going from carrying a all steel 1911 the 23 was a treat to carry. Once I experienced the Glock reliability I started buying more. Will people miss the polygonal barrel ??

i don't know if the new barrel is done the way it is for accuracy or cost... I don't like that it can't be swapped with other glocks. I think police departments will find that it's going to be far easier to match bullet and gun for evidence after a shooting... so your gen 5 will be far more easy to trace projectiles... back to your gun.

I don't know if most people care... I guess I will care if it's harder to clean well.. I always thought the glock barrel was pretty easy to clean...

New to the Glock forums! Currently have a Glock 22 and a few Sig Sauers, but want to get into competition shooting with Glock. Was looking at purchasing a G34 Gen 5 MOS or G17 MOS or G19X. Haven’t been able to make my mind up! Also, is the MOS really something worth the money?

I gave my Glock 23 to my sister a fews years ago, which her husband has pretty much taken charge of. We went out shooting, and I noticed that he really preferred my G41 or my buddy's G19. He's got a birthday coming up, and I owe him a favor or two.

I'm thinking about sending him a conversion barrel so he can shoot 9mm through it. I'm leaning towards KKM Precision.

So.

(1) Which one is the best bang for the buck?

(2) Is there anything else I need to know about, other than 9mm mags are...

Yuppers I won a mint original 1991 Glock Armorer's Manual at Kulls Auction on Proxibid last weekend. I couldn't wait to get this book in to my collection even set up tracking number text alerts on my phone. I got the text from USPS that it was delivered. I called my wife right away to get the mail. I have been shopping for some signts for my 19x and narrowed it down to Heinie Straight Eights or Ameriglo I Dot Pros. When selecting sights on the Heinie website they have a pull down menu for Gen 5, Yes/No. I called to ask what that was for and they say they use a different hieght front sight for guns with Gen 5 barrels. i didnt know this was even an issue. I called Ameriglo and they said they are doing the same thing but they dont show it on their website so i need to call in my order and...
